Ludovic Ballouard - The Upside Down

Last year's Singapore Watch Fair was held at the Equarius Hotel Sentosa and there were some notable pieces on display.

Perhaps one of the more recognisable brand is Ludovic Ballouard and his very captivating Upside Down complication. The model above is called Series Gaga done in collaboration with Revolution. Gaga is the reference to Ludovic's son Gabriel who came up with the artwork for the dial.

For the uninitiated, if you look at the numerals most of them are inverted i.e. Upside Down. Only one number is correctly displayed and in the above blue dial version, the number 1 is correctly displayed (see the dot beneath the numeral 1?). In the picture below, the correct number displayed is 8.
